There are human interest stories, like the women building the City of Joy in the Congo, the apartheid beauty queens of South Africa, the rebuilding of Cape Town’s District Six, the Muslim Women’s cycling club, the one million strong elected women of India – and the teams taking the Homeless World Cup by storm.
In the last few years I’ve reported from Africa, the Middle East, China and the USA.
